We automate many existing types of roller shutters, doors and grilles, provided they are functioning well manually and have the suitable side room and clearance specification for an operator.

Commercial Tilt Doors

Our Commercial Tilt doors are custom made, quality doors which are appropriately braced to provide excellent security, strength and durability.

Steel or aluminium Tilt doors offer a practical alternative for commercial situations where headroom is scarce.

We offer an endless array of stylish yet practical solutions, with cladding available in a wide range of products including BHP Colorbond steel, amplimesh, aluminium or our superb western red cedar.

Options

• “T” (Track) or “J” (Jamb) type hardware is selected based on the weight and height of the door
• Cladding can be vertical, horizontal or diagonal to suit your individual style requirements
• Aluminium frames can be powder-coated, offering a large selection of colour choices.

Automation

• Almost all Tilt doors can have a motor fitted to automate operation. Generally, motors are fitted to the middle of the ceiling at the rear of the door opening.
• Intercom systems and security access solutions such as swipe card readers, loop detectors and PE beams can generally be fitted to assist with the automation of the commercial door opening and/or closing upon vehicle approach.

Operation

“J Style” Tilt Door diagram.  Door protrudes into the driveway space in the fully open position.  Springs are attached to power arms fitted on both sides of the door at the front of the garage.

“T Style” Tilt Door diagram. Door moves into the driveway space whilst operating, but once fully open the door sits parallel to the ceiling in tracks suspended from the ceiling.

Commercial Roller Shutters

Polycarbonate Shutters 

A stylish and functional security solution.  Perfect for areas requiring security without obstructing vision of the product or space they protect. Also offers protection against undesirable vermin.

Very popular for shop fronts as well as bar counters, pedestrian openings and clubs.  Fits well within a range of opening sizes, including larger openings utilising a removable centre mullion.  Polycarbonate Shutters can be finished in a variety of anodised and powder coated colours.

Aluminium Roller Shutters

Robust shutters offering functional security most commonly found protecting large shop fronts, banks, corporate buildings, bar counter tops, doorways and bottle shops, as well as entrances to sporting complexes, arcades and clubs.

Full or part perforations are available on selected models and can be accompanied by clear dust proof vision panels.

Varying profiles and beveled external faces with a choice of anodised or powder coated colour finishes all add to the aesthetic style and appeal of these maximum security shutters. Mullions can be incorporated to suit individual or multiple openings.

Manual hand operation is standard, however chain and automation is available.

Whilst the locking mechanisms are usually mounted within the bottom rails of these shutters, optional waist high locking is available on some models.

Roller Grilles

An economical security alternative that boasts surprising strength whilst being relatively lightweight.

Excellent for situations where maximum ventilation is preferred or required.

Commonly used in sporting complexes, above counters, at cinemas and in shopping complexes on shop and café fronts.

Slimline and Micro Aluminum Shutters

Are ideal for smaller openings and are often used for spaces above bar and counter tops, in doorways, for small storage areas such as fire hose storage, store rooms, canteens and on pantec vehicles.

Commercial Roller Doors

Our Commercial Roller doors are high quality doors to provide excellent security, strength and durability. 

Heavy Duty “B” doors can provide excellent strength and security for all commercial and industrial applications.

We recommend industrial strength steel roller doors, such as the B&D Roll-A-Door Series 2 door, for openings up to 5.1 metres high.  These doors offer precision springing and consistent balance to deliver single-handed ease of operation.

Options

• Windlock Guide systems for extreme weather or high wind conditions.
• Mullions between a series of smaller doors that can be removed by hand when wider access is required.
• Tapered curtains for sloped openings
• Waist height sidelock bolts on one or both sides, and optional centre lift lock
• Extensive range of Colourbond colours or Zincalume coated finishes
• Automatically operated whenever the appropriate side room exists
• Slotted Curtain Doors are an excellent solution for areas where airflow through the door is required
• Exterior or reverse roll doors are a practical alternative where interior headroom is limited or their positioning is required to protect glass windows and doors.

Automation

Depending upon the door size and internal space, we will recommend an appropriate operator such as Direct Drive Chain, Planetary Gearing Drive Chain or Industrial motors to automate operation. Commercial Bar & Panel Grilles

Bar grilles provide a great security solution for entrances where ventilation and visibility are necessary, or desirable. They are commonly utilised at the car park entrances of commercial buildings, hotels, resorts and apartment buildings.

Bar grilles are custom made and thus can be designed to fit almost any opening size. The most popular style of bar grille is currently a powder-coated aluminium Sectional Overhead Grille incorporating vertical and or horizontal bars. Other styles such as a custom built sliding gate can be suitable for some applications.

Alternative designs include the use of inserts such as amplimesh through-out   each section of the bar grille, or the use of louvered aluminum slats, limiting visibility through the entrance, yet still allowing ventilation.
